The delegation of the Confucius Institute of the University of Novi Sad, led by the Institute Director prof. Dr. Hui Chen, visited Megatrend University on September 6, 2018. The Confucius Institute in Novi Sad and Megatrend University have been cooperating successfully for several years now. Owing to the support of the Confucius Institute and the Government of the People’s Republic of China,one of the results of the established cooperation has been the launch of Chinese language courses at Megatrend University whith Chinateachers working as lectors. The Confucius Institute is one of the strategic partners of Megatrend University Chinese Center, and this cooperation has resulted in a number of events in recent years dedicated to the culture, history and tradition of the people of China. During the talks, led by prof. Dr Dragan Ćalović, vice-rector for International Cooperation, the wish of both institutions was confirmed to continue the established cooperation. Also,the framework on further improvement of joint work was agreed on, with the aim of bringing the rich cultural tradition of China closer to the domestic public.
