On Thursday, Feb 2nd 2017, a meeting between the delegation from Libya and the management of “John Naisitt” University was held. At the meeting , the strengthening of cooperation between our two countries in the field of higher education was discussed, as well as the problems related to issuing entry visas and granting residence for Libyan students in the Republic of Serbia in order to increase the total number of students. Programs of summer and winter schools of our University were also presented.
The delegation from Libya consisted of Dr Ahmed Bashir Abugharsa, Director of the Board for scholarships at the Ministry of Education of Libya, Ms. Aisha Bashir Altaoerghi, Director of the Department for Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Libya’s Ministry of Education and Head of the agreements, Dr Abdalla Abdljalell, attache for academic education, Dr Abulkasem Asgeyr, assistant attache for academic education, and Mrs. Biljana Jaksić, translator.
The delegation of the University, consisted of prof. Dragan Nikodijević, PhD, Vice Rector for Research, assistant professor Ana Jurcic, PhD, Director of the International Cooperation Department, Marijana Zimonjić, Head of master and doctoral studies, Marina Golubovic, Director of the Centre for Career Development, Counseling and Life-long Learning and Milan Dimic and Aleksandar Bošković, coordinators of the International Cooperation Department.
