As a result of many years of successful cooperation between the University “John Naisbitt,” and the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Belgrade, on 27 April 2016 Iranian center was officially opened at the University.
The opening ceremony was attended by students, professors, members of the Iranian

Cultural Centre, the Persian language course participants and other friends of Iran. The Rector prof. Slobodan Pajovic, PhD, director of the Iranian Cultural Centre Mahmud Salui, PhD and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, prof. Ana Jovancai Stakic, PhD talked about the cooperation of the University “John Naisbitt” and the Cultural Center of Iran, objectives and organization of the Iranian center at the University.

The objectives of the Iranian center are: expansion of cooperation in terms of exchange of students, exchange of professors, organizing study and specialist visits for students and professors in Iran, then more intensive promotion of Iranian culture, art, literature, economics, organization of thematic meetings at the University and the work of the newly established Iranian libraries and Reading Room within the Iranian center.

On this occasion Persian language course students were awarded diplomas and a documentary about the Islamic Republic of Iran was shown.
The work of the Iranian center is entrusted to the Department for International Cooperation of the University and to its director assistant professor Ani Jurcic, PhD, prof. Natasa Stanojevic, PhD is appointed a coordinator.
