erasmusProfessor Uroš Ćemalović from the Faculty of Law visited New Bulgarian University in Sofia as a guest lecturer in the period from May 09-13, 2017. This visit was organized as a part of Erasmus+ Mobility Program which is being successfully implemented by the International Cooperation Department of John Naisbitt University.

The coordinator and moderator of all sessions and lectures on, behalf of New Bulgarian University, was Professor Silvija Coneva. Professor Uroš Ćemalović was the first professor from a non-EU country to visit New Bulgarian University as a lecturer under the Erasmus+ Mobility Program.

During his stay in Sofia, Professor Ćemalović gave several lectures under the unified title “Protection of Intellectual Property Rights in the Context of Global Changes” to students of master studies at Department of Law within New Bulgarian University. In addition to arousing significant interest and student participation in his lectures, Professor Ćemalović also established professional and scientific contacts with fellow lecturers from Department of Law of New Bulgarian University, especially with Professor Ekaterina Mateev who teaches the Law of the EU, and Professor Veselin Maneva who teaches Intellectual Property Rights. He also had a comprehensive meeting with the Dean of Department of Law, Professor Blagoje Vidin, with whom he exchanged experiences regarding the specifics of the study programs of the two universities and discussed the possibilities of future scientific and educational cooperation.

Lectures of Professor Ćemalović were also attended by Radomir Popović, a student of the second year of the Law Faculty at John Naisbitt University, who was spending summer semester at New Bulgarian University under the Erasmus+ Student Mobility Program.
