The official ceremony in honor of the International Francophone Day was organized at the university campus in Goce Delceva street on March 23, 2016.

Rector of John Naisbitt University, prof. dr Slobodan Pajović welcomed the audience recalling the long tradition of celebrating the Francophone Day on this higher education institution and the openness of its educational, scientific and artistic programs to other cultures and languages. Professor Pajović pointed out that Serbian culture becomes richer by absorbing the products of different spiritual regions and creatively interweaving with them.

Students of the Faculty of Culture and Media performed in an one-hour musical and theatrical program in French created by professors Ljiljana Volf and Milica Miljus. The following students from the Faculty of Culture and Media participated in this program:

  • Srna Radivojević,
  • Kristina Bađić,
  • Ivana Životić,
  • Vojin Grbović,
  • Miloš Milosavljević,
  • Stefan Jovičić,
  • Stefan Petrović and
  • Boris Postovnik.

Ms Mila Mihajlović, the opera singer (Rome), the famous flute artist Bora Dugić and the accordion virtuoso Boban Kopunović performed in the final part of the program as special guests of the University.
The representatives of the embassies of Francophone countries in Belgrade attended the ceremony.
