Dr Dia Nader de El Andari, Minister Counsellor and Charge d’Affairs of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Belgrade, delivered a lecture entitled “The current situation in Venezuela” to students and professors of the Department for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Faculty of International Economics, John Naisbitt University on March 31st.
Apart from the students of John Naisbitt University, the lecture was attended by the Chinese exchange students attending one-semester training at the China Center of our university.
The lecture was also attended by the Ambassador of Argentina, H.E. Mr. Ricardo Fernando Fernandez with his wife, the Ambassador of Cuba, H.E. Mrs. Mayra Ruiz Garcia, Charge d’Affairs of Mexico, Mr. Jose Humberto Castro Villalobos, economic adviser to the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Aitor Jose Mate Rincon, Honorary Consul of Ecuador to Serbia, Mrs. Carmen Vegas de Spalajkovic, as well as the professors from other faculties of Belgrade University.
At the beginning of the lecture Charge d’Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic to the Republic of Serbia donated books on the political history of this country to the library of the Department of Latin America and the Caribbean.
