Within Erasmus plus mobility program, Megatrend University delegation: prof. Dragan Ćalović, PhD, Vice Rector for International Cooperation, prof. Dragana Trifunović, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, prof. Goran Lalić, PhD, the Dean of the Faculty of Geoeconomics, and prof. Aleksandra Tošović Stevanović, PhD, a professor at the Faculty of Business Studies, visited the State University of Applied Sciences in Plock, Poland, from 9th to 15th December 2018.

The visit of Megatrend University delegation to the renowned Polish higher education institution was organized to establish stable interinstitutional relations and improve the cooperation between two partner institutions. During the visit to the University of Plock, our delegation had several meetings with prof. Agnieszka GrażulLuft, PhD, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Teaching and International Cooperation, as well as with the representatives of the International Cooperation Department. The strategies and plans for the development of both institutions and the prospects for further improvement of student exchange were presented.

During the five-day visit to the university, our delegation had a meeting with the representatives of the Faculty of Economics and Informatics. At the meeting, they discussed the plans for the development of international cooperation and the improvement of the teaching process at both institutions. Our professors had the opportunity to learn more about studying at the institution and the organisation of the University of Plock.

For two days, our professors held lestures to the students from Plock. Prof. Aleksandra Tošović Stevanović, PhD held a lecture on economics and innovation, and prof. Goran Lalić, PhD on Regional Economic Integration and CEFTA Agreement.

Megatrend University delegation was received by the Deputy Mayor of Plock, Mr. Roman Semyatkovsky. The meeting was attended by Plock’s high representatives for culture, science and education, when the importance of establishing the cooperation and strengthening the relations between Serbia and Poland was emphasized. After the meeting, our representatives visited the Scientific Society in Plock, where they got acquainted with the history and work of the well-known scientific organization.
